Value for money
We at Paul Martin have been in the music business for over 34 years, during this time we have seen many
changes in the music we play and also the customers attitudes have changed as well.
No one can try any harder to please our customers than we do, we have been told by many of our customers
that we offer excellent value for money, in fact when people ask how much we charge, when we are at
functions they are surprised that we don't charge more.
Again with all business you can out price your selfs. We understand we could double our current prices but
then we would be limited to a certain amount of customers who could afford the extra cost.
Investment in the future
Our company has a reputation for quality sound and lighting, we invest £1000's each year on new
equipment and we are always renewing lighting and sound equipment, so it looks good even when the
lights are on in the function room we are in, as with some functions the disco has to be set up before the
meal is served, again you would not want too look at tatty equipment in a nice function room.
Bookings
We only take a maximum of two bookings per night, so should one of us be ill or on holiday we can still
offer the same level of service, again we look at our bookings in advance and plan well in advance for busy
periods, the summer months with weddings and the Christmas period with work's party's.
The DJ's
Mark
Let's start with Mark, Mark has been Dj-ing now for a number of years and during this time has only got
better, he is enthusiastic about what he does and is proud of the company he is working for, and wants to
give 110% all the time. A great asset too us.
Ryan
Ryan has been working for us a number of years and despite having his own roadshow is always happy to
use our equipment, Ryan has been working on a local radio before stating his own roadshow, so he too has
a great knowledge of music and we as a company are always willing to recommend Ryan should we be
fully booked, Ryan also works along side us to help us with our Hotel contract.
Paul
This is where it all started from, some 34 years ago. Paul has always invested most of his life to what he
loves best making his customers happy, the idea was not even his to start with but someone else, so Paul
would like to say a big thank you (you know who you are)
Since then until now Paul has worked in many hotels and have entertained 1000's of people and now
some 34 years on the customers who Paul entertained for there wedding are now using Paul's company for
their family and their children's weddings and engagement's too.
Martin
Martin our lighting engineer, this is the man who keeps us on our toes, making sure our equipment is serviced and kept
in full working order, apart from working our vast lighting system, Martin sets up the main lighting system and has been
with us for over 10 years and is a valued member of the team.
