How do we arrive at the price?
When we are asked to quote for a function there are many factors we have to take into consideration as each
function is different, playing times, the venue itself, some venues have easy access, some are up stairs, this all
adds to the time it takes to setup & pack up, the distance to the venue also has to be taken into consideration.
Therefore its not possible to set a price fixed price on our website, unless we was to list every venue we played in,
even then we would have to set playing times too.
We at Paul Martin have a fair pricing policy, and we believe our quotations offer excellent value for money.
We have many customers who use our services over and over for family and friends special occasions. They
know we offer excellent value for money, and the professional people they are dealing with.
Most DJ's general comments on pricing.
When it comes to the price of booking a professional DJ. The DJ's we speak too performing at wedding
receptions say that compared with the cost of other wedding expenses. Wedding cars - (who only take
you to the church then onto your reception) or The Church - even the cost of your Flowers, they offer
you more value for money, remember your DJ is going too be entertaining you/your new partner -
family and guests, all night.
If you were to break down the cost of some of the above into an hourly rate you would find that your DJ
who works not just playing music, but setting up equipment and packing up too along with loading of
his/her van offers better value than any of the above!
